The Community Energy Hub launched this week.http://hub.communityenergyengland.org/
The Community Energy Hub aims to:
- Provide a single point of access for information on community energy across the internet, helping people to easily find the information they need when they need it
- Help community energy groups share information amongst themselves and with other organisations, including potential funders or project partners.
The Hub is a free resource for community energy projects that will be developed on an ongoing basis to expand the amount of information available.
The Hub has been established with funding from the UK government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) by a partnership between Energy Saving Trust, Project Dirt and SE2 supported by Pure Leapfrog, Regen SW, London Sustainability Exchange (LSx), Forum for the Future and AEA Ricardo. The Hub will be managed by Project Dirt and Energy Saving Trust until March 2016 when we aim to hand the site over to the community energy sector to own and manage.
