The Care Quality Commission (CQC) Inspection of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust takes place on 8th June 2016.
You are invited to contribute your intelligence about this Trust which will help to build knowledge about this service and help to inform the focus for the CQC Inspection Team.
1. Intelligence input into the Inspection
The CQC will be inspecting all the acute services for this hospital trust. They would like to get an idea of:
- performance and feedback from service users and their families;
- any recent themes or trends in issues of concern which people are approaching you about;
- any significant meetings or documents relating to their performance;
- if any particular population groups are well or not well served by their services.
Any information should be sent to hospitalinspections@cqc.org.uk
2. Invite others to share experiences
There are many ways to share experiences of using the hospital trust services with the CQC. Please forward this promotional flyer to networks and contacts and promote in e-bulletins, website and social media. Download promotional flyer

- In person: The Inspection Team will be speaking to patients when on site during the course of the inspection to get their views.
3. Local Engagement Meetings
The CQC would like to know of any pre-arranged engagement events or meetings which local services are holding around this time which might allow opportunities to incorporate some time to ask people attending about their experiences of the Trust.
4. Future promotion of the Trust Stalls
Patients and families who have used the Trust acute services can come to the Trust Stalls to speak to CQC inspectors. These will be held the week before the inspection at James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough.
