Many local organisations attended the North East LEP's Strategic Economic Plan engagement events over the past few weeks.
The feedback from the events has been very positive, with many people commenting that they were useful opportunities for discussion. From a LEP perspective, the input and insight provided into the SEP refresh process will be invaluable.
The events generated some lively discussion, which they've captured in the summary documents below – one for each of the eight sessions. If you have any additional thoughts or comments - particularly linked to your area of industry - the SEP refresh survey is still live and awaiting your feedback. The SEP refresh is crucially important at this time. It gives the North East LEP an opportunity to reflect on the current economic landscape and ensure that they focus their work on the opportunities to generate more and better jobs for the North East.
