Established in the 1960’s with the purpose of supporting those in need, this fund specifically focuses on alleviating financial burdens associated with holidays and short breaks. By providing financial assistance, the Rose Joicey Fund enables families and individuals to experience much-needed respite from the challenges they confront daily.

Organisations (which must be registered charities) can apply on behalf of one or more individuals / families. The minimum grant size is £1,000 and the maximum grant size is £2,000.

The grant does not have to cover the full costs of a break, but the application should state where the balance of the costs will come from. Specific individuals and families do not need to be named, but there should be an indication in the application form of how many individuals or families will be supported.

You need to be registered with the Community Foundation to make an application. If you are not currently registered you need to allow up to two working days for your registration to be checked. The team will then grant you access to the grantee portal and you can make your application.
