Funders Spotlight - Virgin Money Foundation
The Foundation are seeking further applications for the following two funds:
- The North East Fund
- #iwill Take Action Fund
This fund supports charities on three activities: supporting people into affordable tenancies, supporting young people into sustainable employment and supporting the development of social enterprises. All applicants need to be rooted in a local community facing social and economic deprivation and have clear measurable outcomes.
This is a new fund that backs the ideas of young people and supports them to be change makers in their community. Grants are for up to 2 years and up to £60,000. All applications need to include young people in the design and leadership of the work, be focused on youth volunteering, campaigning, fundraising or wider social action initiatives and support young people from communities across the North East that have experienced social and economic decline. Closes December 2018.
