Northumbria University Students offer new insight to VCSE organisations

The Business Clinic is an education scheme whereby a group of business students, participate in a ‘consultancy firm’ to provide supervised advice for our clients on a pro bono basis.  The service is offered at Newcastle Business School in Northumbria University and is highly acclaimed by our clients. Due to the ‘consultants’ getting to the root of the problem that not for profit/charities face; resulting in a detailed report and presentation of their recommendations. A recent client Catherine Hearne who is the Chief Executive at Helix Arts summarised the Business Clinic by saying, “I’ve been blown away by the energy, enthusiasm and ideas the team brought to our brief. They went far beyond our expectations.”

Consultancy advice is offered to clients by both our final year undergraduate and master’s students. The consultancy firms are supported by a team of experts from Newcastle Business School to assist with successful outcomes.
