North Tyneside VODA

The Hub has been designed to primarily serve small and micro-organisations supporting some of our most socioeconomically disadvantaged residents. It offers modern co-working space, face-to-face, and virtual conferencing and training facilities, informal break-out areas, meeting rooms, Boardroom, and a Media suite. The Hub has VODA as its anchor tenant – the VCSE sector infrastructure support organisation for the borough. It also houses the nationally accredited Volunteer Centre for North Tyneside. The facilities provide space where multiple organisations can operate from in large open-plan areas offering hot desks with access to power and Wifi. The break-out areas can be used for informal meetings, gatherings, and receiving visitors. The spaces have access to kitchen facilities and the shared reception area as a waiting area. The facility offers private meeting and interview space from small meeting rooms up to boardroom space as well as space for training and community events as well as a media suite to create and access online training conferences and events. The Hub offers a range of affordable ‘back-office’ services such as payroll, accountancy, and printing. The Spirit of North Tyneside Community Sector Hub has level access and automatic doors, Blue badge/ Accessible parking bays, accessible toilets and shower, and an assistive hearing loop. There is a car park for public use within 200m and the nearest public transport is Wallsend Bus Station, Wallsend Metro Station.
