VONNE would like to encourage you to take part in the latest Third Sector Trends Survey undertaken by Durham University. The Third Sector Trends Study is now recognised as one of the most valuable formal research studies on the voluntary and community sector in the North East of England.

Originally started in 2010 funded by Northern Rock Foundation  the study has provided a useful picture of the VCSE in the North East and how it has fared over time. Undertaken by Professor Tony Chapman at Durham University and funded this year by Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland it will provide an up to date formal research study that can be used to evidence the ‘state of the sector’ in the North East with funders, politicians and other key stakeholders at both national and local level. The survey will also be extended across the whole of the North of England this year and at VONNE we want to make sure the voluntary sector in the North East is well represented.

So whatever your size: large or small voluntary organisation, group or social enterprise, please takes 15 minutes to complete the survey so that a comprehensive picture can be built on how the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector is faring in this area. You won't need to look up any facts and figures and your answers will be completely confidential.

If you click this link, it will take you straight to the survey questionnaire – where you can find more detail on the study:
