Community Action Northumberland (CAN) is looking for a new Chief Executive to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
For more than 70 years, CAN has worked alongside rural communities across Northumberland, helping people and places to thrive. Today, our work spans community development, affordable rural housing, energy, digital inclusion, employment support and support for village halls and community buildings.
We are looking for an inspiring and collaborative Chief Executive who can build on our strong foundations, lead our committed team and work with communities, partners, funders and policymakers to ensure rural voices continue to be heard.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established charity at an important point in its development. You will help shape CAN’s future direction, develop new opportunities and partnerships and ensure our work continues to respond to the changing needs of rural Northumberland.
