Applications are now open for 2027, a paid training programme that prepares professionals from working-class backgrounds for decision making roles in the grant-giving sector.
2027 is founded on the belief that diversity is needed at the senior level of foundations and trusts to foster better decision-making, happier workforces and more meaningful relationships with communities. Its goal is to increase class diversity in the sector and ensure that 40 per cent of grant-giving roles are held by people from working class communities by 2027.
Successful applicants to the programme will have the opportunity to work full-time for a leading foundation, trust or social investment organisation, earning a salary of up to £25k. Alongside this placement participants will be part of a comprehensive development programme, helping them develop the skills and experience needed to influence real change in communities.
2027 is looking for passionate people who come from working class backgrounds and have experience working directly in the community in a frontline position. To find out more and apply, visit the 2027 website.
