ITV has launched its annual scheme known as Breaking Into News which offers young people aged between 18 and 25 the chance to spend time in a regional newsroom with the aim of producing a news report of their choice.
They will be mentored through the process by a journalist. Breaking Into News is now in its fifth year and is run in conjunction with the Media Trust.
ITV very much welcome applications from young people from all backgrounds and are keen to spread the word about this opportunity.
