Local Access Redcar & Cleveland and Hartlepool (LARCH), facilitated by VONNE is now live with their own website, social media and events.
The LARCH programme is a £4 million investment and is one of only six areas in the UK to be chosen by Access Foundation for Social Investment and Big City Capital, who are the main funders of the programme, with supporting partners - The Key Fund and Tees Valley Community Foundation.
The aim of the programme is to tackle inequalities that may contribute to health, housing, employment or wellbeing, and is a unique opportunity to enable local charities or social enterprises to make more social impact in their respective communities with access to enterprse development support, blended repayable finance or what is known as social investment, or financial support to develop growing enterprises or earned income streams within existing VCS organisations.
LARCH aims to develop and build a thriving social economy in Redcar & Clevelent and Hartlepool and will achieve this by working with local people who want to tackle social issues whilst developing sustainable social enterprises.
You can find out much more about LARCH on their website. You can also follow LARCH on Facebook and Twitter to be kept up to date with the latest news.
