A new business challenge has been launched to strengthen innovation, build resilience and unlock growth potential in the Tees Valley.
The challenge, which is delivered on behalf of Tees Valley Combined Authority by a project partnership including Edge Innovation, RTC North, AHSN-NENC, Dynamo, NEPIC and VONNE, is funded by the UK Community Renewal Fund.
As part of the project, large organisations with pressing challenges will be connected with small businesses and social enterprises who have innovative solutions. These solution developers will then be helped through advice, grant funding and new contacts to build, test and commercialise their ideas.
The Business Challenge is backed by £325k of funding, and the challenges to be addressed span the themes of healthcare, digital, social enterprise, process and manufacturing and more.
