We aim to encourage and provide young people from clubs affiliated to Durham Association of Boys and Girls Clubs, access to a wide range of sporting and activity opportunities at Inter-club, county, National and International level, so they may increase their personal and social development skills, thus enabling them to fulfil their potential

Durham Christian Partnership

Durham Christian Partnership supports Christian Communities in County Durham to work with each other and with other organisations. We support a variety of projects all of which respond to identified needs. Our projects include County Durham Foodbank and Fuel Bank, Sunderland Foodbank Durham Durham StreetLights, Cathedral Listening Service and the County Durham Money Advice Centres.

Durham City Shopmobility

We improve the lives of people mobility, and other access/health problems in County Durham by providing access to mobility scooters, power wheel chairs and mobility aids, social events and days trips. Those going on the trips are provided with mobility aids as appropriate, and picked up returned to their home address opening up opportunities for social, cultural, educational and shopping experiences which would otherwise be impossible for them, and reduced the growing problem of social isolation and the associated mental health effects this has on a growing number of people.

Durham City Youth Project

The project aims to provide experiences and opportunities both social and educational to young people who are deemed to be disadvantaged and prone to "at risk" behaviour. DCYP supports young people from all areas of County Durham and helps to develop their social and emotional capabilities.

Durham Community Action

We are a well-established charity and infrastructure support organisation that has been providing advice, support, information and training support to communities across County Durham since 1935.

Durham County Carers Support

Durham County Carers Support aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Carers caring for someone who cannot manage without their support. We offer information, advice, support and practical help to enable them to make informed choices, reduce their isolation and be seen as equal partners with professionals alongside the person they care for.

Durham Voice has the aim of strengthening partnership working between the County Durham Partnership, other statutory bodies, the Voluntary and Community Sector and other 3rd sector organisations such as not for profit companies, by supporting the development and coordination of the Consortia Framework and developing an effective Communication Network.

Durham Wildlife Trust is a charity and was established in 1971, originally as the Durham County Conservation Trust, becoming Durham Wildlife Trust in 1988. The Trust operates across the area of the old County Durham, which today includes Darlington, Gateshead, South Tyneside and Sunderland.

Dwellbeing Shieldfield

Dwellbeing Shieldfield is a welcoming community group and co-operative for people of all ages and backgrounds in Shieldfield, Newcastle. We share life together, support our neighbours and celebrate our community. We enjoy regular social events and educational activities such as group walks, coffee meet-ups, planting and growing food, youth activities, and making improvements to our neighbourhood. Our aim is for community members to play an active role in shaping life in Shieldfield.
