Creative Minds has some exciting and valuable plans for the future and are now in a position where we are able to develop our services to bring employment and training opportunities including the much needed adult apprenticeships and addressing skills gaps in a number of sectors in the local area.
CREST
CREST is a small charity making a big difference to the most vulnerable in local BAME communities promoting cohesion/race. As the ‘eyes and ears’ of the local community CREST makes a significant difference to the lives of BAMEs’ in South Tyneside delivering multiple, demand-led and grass roots inspired projects. Recent Race for Jobs initiative helped over 500 BAME jobseekers into training, volunteering and work. This year CREST is trail blazing: Mentor a Mum where resident mums support asylum seeker/refugee mums with integration from orientation, education and finding out about best buys! The Regional Refugee Forum have expressed an interest in replicating this model. Stage Two of the Network Aspire girls/young women’s project promoting gender equality and raising aspirations. The Chai and Chat project addressing isolation among BAMEs 50+.
Cricketqube Initiative CIC
Cricketqube helps people to be healthy and happy through our accessible cricket sessions across the North East. Our sessions are especially focused on pre-teens, people over the age of 50 and ethnic minorities.

Crookham Village Hall provides a programme of events/social events at the Hall and is available to outside hirers.

Crossings Community Group
Crossings Community Group provides opportunities for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers to integrate into the communities in which they live. We use music, singing, dance and team activities to build relationships within the group and with the wider community of the Newcastle and Gateshead area. We aim to improve relationships and understanding through shared positive experiences

Providing bereavement support after the death of a loved one to adults, children and young people.
CSSBI
The Church Schoolmasters and Schoolmistresses' Benevolent Institution (CSSBI) is a charity that provides support for teachers, both former and current, who are in significant need of financial assistance.
Applicants must be members of the Church of England or of another recognised Christian denomination and resident in England or Wales.
