Rubyliscious is a social enterprise provided for lesbian and bisexual women in north east England. It provides information, signposting, advocacy individually and social networking events currently are organised on a two monthly basis. We use several venues in partnership with other community organisations in order to meet individual women in order that women do not have to travel far to access the service. We hope to organise more events and provide funding for counselling to members in the north east if we are successful in achieving more funding. Membership is free and we particularly welcome older women although everyone is given a warm welcome.

The Gateshead Special Educational Needs and Disability Information and Advice Service (SENDIAS) works with parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and with children and young people themselves to help them get the best out of their education. Children or young people with SEN may have learning difficulties or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn than most children of the same age.
