Gateway into the Community

The aim of Gateway into the Community is to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities who live in West Northumberland. Our members and their needs and wishes are central to the organisation: they are the driving force behind everything we do. We promote a community which improves the lives of people with learning disabilities through participation in a range of inclusive social, leisure and learning opportunities. Everyone deserves to reach their potential.

Our mission is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy cycling and to give them opportunities for personal development by providing suitable cycles, equipment and support.

Gaunless Gateway Big Local

​​The Gaunless Gateway Big Local Partnership is a resident led proactive organisation in South-West Bishop Auckland, representing the communities of Cockton Hill, Henknowle, Woodhouse Close/Tindale Crescent, St Helens Auckland and West Auckland, some of the most deprived wards in County Durham. It came together to identify the needs and aspirations of these local communities and to agree how best to use the £1 million Big Local fund available.

The Partnership’s objectives are to manage the ten year programme to meet the area’s long term vision and outcomes to make a positive and lasting difference to the communities of South West Bishop Auckland.

The Gefrin Trust is a small independent trust governed by a board of trustees. Its main objective is ensuring the future preservation of the site at Ad Gefrin/Yeavering (Northumberland) through sympathetic management, conservation, research and investigation.

Get Mindfuel CIC

We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and our aim is to promote wellbeing and positive mental health through prevention and early intervention initiatives; as well as ensuring that our community has access to good quality information, education and support around mental health. We want to do this by helping people who work with people; to develop skills and knowledge related to mental health and to provide communities and groups with access to relevant skills and information to maintain their own wellbeing. Our approach is underpinned by principles of community psychology and positive psychology, and the theoretical knowledge we draw on and skills we use from clinical psychology. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a flexible and dynamic approach which is needs led and adapted to suit your needs.

Glow: Newcastle Cultural Education Partnership is a new independent charity growing out of the Newcastle LCEP. We support children and young people in Newcastle to develop and celebrate their creativity, to build their social confidence and to make their voices heard across our city and beyond.

We forge partnerships between individual artists and practitioners, cultural, creative organisations and schools across Newcastle upon Tyne.

Go Wild in Nature CIC

Go Wild in Nature provides more opportunities to engage in nature and improve health and well-being. Go Wild in Nature aims to:
*reconnect individuals with nature in and around their home environment
* leave a legacy of outdoor professionals confident to deliver nature play programmes
* encourage people to engage in nature using local resources in a sustainable and responsible way
*provide opportunities for children and adults to explore, experience and learn about the world around them.
*provide information and education around the importance of environmental responsibility

GoTrak

GoTrak is a registered charity whose purpose is to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit by making public pathways for cycling, walking and recreational use. We aim to do this by developing Britain’s disused railway lines as traffic-free trails.

Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group is a registered charity supporting cancer patients and their families across County Durham and Darlington. We provide free services including patient transport to hospital appointments, financial and benefits advice, respite breaks, social outings and monthly support meetings. Our aim is to reduce isolation, ease financial pressures and improve wellbeing during and after treatment
