We are North East Humanists and we are a local charity who want as many people as possible in the North East of England to have awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Humanism as a purposeful and moral basis for leading a happy and fulfilling life. We provide information to individuals and institutions in the community about Humanism, and we organise local activities that help put Humanist values into practice.

NEYDL is a unique youth support service that is dedicated to helping young men and young fathers to play an active and meaningful role in the lives of their children, within families and wider society. We offer a non-judgmental service that is based on mutual trust, respect and honesty. We listen and respond to the challenges facing young men and work with them on a voluntary basis to find positive and long-term solutions. We operate a ‘revolving door’ policy that enables young men to return time and again for help, assistance and friendship.

North of England Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
The North of England Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (NEAPP) is a member institution of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
Our aim is the advancement of education by the promotion of psychotherapeutic knowledge and the study and practice of the art and science of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and the promotion of the highest standard of professional knowledge, competence and training in connection with psychotherapy.
We also put on events, films and conferences for anyone interested in psychoanalysis.
