Living Woods North East CIC

Living Woods North East CIC was established in 2017 to give every person in the region the opportunity to plant a tree at no cost. We have expanded to offer volunteer opportunities in both woodland creation and woodland management and have also recently taken on the work of a smaller group to assist in the creation and development of orchards and other fruit growing opprtunities.

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales partners with small and local charities who help people overcome complex social issues. Through funding for core costs, developmental support and influencing policy and practice, the Foundation helps charities make life-changing impact.
The Foundation is an independent charitable trust funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group.

Lovaine Community Garden Group

Alongside promoting gardening as a health benefit for physical and mental wellbeing and providing a maintained site to do so - we also distribute fresh produce and excess plants to the local community, organise and run nature, wildlife and craft activities and host open days, community get togethers and cultural events to promote nature and our local area as an inspirational space for art, music, sculpture and poetry.

Love Dunston

Love Dunston is a charity set up to develop the capacity and skills of the communities of Dunston and its surrounding neighbourhoods so that residents are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more effectvely and more fully in society, benefiting those residents by supporting and providing facilities for mental health suport, education, recreation and leisure with the objective of improving the conditions of life for those residents

Love, Amelia

Love Amelia is a baby bank providing items to babies and young children who experiencing poverty and hardship living in Sunderland and South Tyneside

Lucie Winkles CIC

A vintage style teashop offering art workshops to the community and supporting local artists sell their work with us. We also work with people with learning difficulties and offer work placements and volunteering opportunities.

We’re here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. We'll be there for everyone, either through one of our services, or by pointing them in the right direction. So whatever cancer throws their way, we'll be right there with them.​

Maggie's

Maggie’s provides a high-quality, evidence-based programme of emotional, psychological, and practical support from our centres to people affected by cancer. Our programme is always free, and we welcome anyone with cancer, at any stage of the journey, and their family and friends for as long as they need us.

Magnetic North East CIC

Magnetic North East CIC has been formed by Kathryn Tickell and Andrew Davison to celebrate and promote the North East through its music, song, dance, heritage and the arts.
