Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust
The Linskill and North Tyneside Community Development Trust is an independent registered Charity (charity no: 11191243) and Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No: 04827255). It was established in July 2003 to complete a community asset transfer of the Linskill Centre, based at North Shields, from North Tyneside Council. The centre was due to be demolished by the Council; however a community campaign was raised to save it. The Trust completed the asset transfer in April 2006 and has successfully developed it into a thriving community centre that serves the communities of North Tyneside.
The Linskill Centre is a large community centre totaling over 6500m2. It now hosts 30 permanent organisations within it including the Percy Hedley Foundation, Royal Voluntary Service, and PROPS Newcastle. It also has 10 rooms that are used by community groups on a weekly basis which creates a comprehensive programme of activities and includes arts and crafts, sports and keep-fit, training and education and music and cultural activities. We also have an OFSTED registered Nursery providing affordable and flexible childcare for up to 76 children per day, a community cafe providing healthy meals and an events department running music, theatre and arts projects.
Linthorpe Road Resource Centre
Established In 2004 Linthorpe Road Resource Centre, a frontline charity, which is part of the church building which is situated over three floors enabling us to support organisations who use the centre by signposting to them and working alongside them while addressing the needs of the community in which we are situated, enabling us to meet user needs. We have started a new Project, ‘The Good Samaritan Project’. Under this banner we are looking to establish projects which serve the most vulnerable in society. We can provide specialist support to organisations and to the vulnerable in society. This will be achieved by supporting the organisations who already use the centre and by welcoming new ones. We are experts in offering support and our centre is a fully open facility in the heart of the town city, we have an excellent track record of offering services to the community.

Little Chefs Big Chefs CIC
Little Chefs Big Chefs CIC has a central ethos which stresses the importance of a healthy diet and the teaching of kitchen skills and better cooking methods. Our primary objective is children and families as developing good eating habits from a young age not only helps children develop physically but also starts the roots for maintaining a good diet for the rest of their lives and hopefully preventing obesity. Our cooking and food education sessions are designed to inspire everyone to make better food choices through practical and fun cooking sessions aimed at all ages and abilities. We provide a wide variety of courses/sessions to suit schools, service providers or the community. We can also tailor them to suit. All participants are encouraged to prepare and cook foods ensuring that they are positively engaged and actually learn practical techniques rather than just through observation.

Live Music Now North East
Live Music Now's distinctive approach has been developed over 35 years, realising the vision of our founders, Yehudi Menuhin and Ian Stoutzker. We support inspirational professional musicians to use their talents for the benefit of those who are otherwise excluded from the joy of experiencing live music.
LMN works with a very diverse range of people that rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to experience live music. It takes very special skills to be able to use music to engage people who face difficulties in communicating, cut off from the joy and pleasures of participating and sharing with others.
Our musicians are trained to put participants' needs and responses at the heart of everything they do. Working with LMN gives our musicians the ability to perform with a deeper level of engagement throughout their careers.
