Journey Enterprises

We provide services to enable people with intellectual (learning) disability and complex needs to develop work and independent living skills, and to manage their health and wellbeing. As part of its services the Charity runs a number of enterprises which give service to the local community whilst enabling Clients to develop work skills. These include community cafes such as JJs at Kenton Sports Centre, horticultural and woodwork services, mobile food delivery services and arts and crafts sales. The Charity is a member of the Community Transport Association and has a small fleet of minibuses which are used to transport Clients needing transportation to and from Day Services and also for our activities in the community.

At Joybringers Charity, our mission is to uplift and empower young people through skills development, knowledge sharing, and opportunities. We are committed to providing free and accessible education in areas such as IT, data analytics, career development, and mental health. Our workshops, mentorship programs, and career support initiatives are designed to ensure that every youth has the resources to thrive.

Through our dedicated team, innovative programs, and unwavering commitment to youth development, we aim to create a lasting impact. Our mission is to not only address immediate needs but to pave the way for sustainable success and long-term well-being.

Junction 42

Junction 42 exists to see the lives of offenders and their community visibly transformed.

Junction 42 is an established charity proving education, mentoring and Christian faith support to offenders both in custody and in the community. This support focuses on reducing social isolation, building community, addressing chaotic lifestyles and removing barriers to employment and family stability. We work with a large number of offenders, ex-offenders and other young people, (including dedicated women’s services) who face serious lifestyle stability issues and significant barriers to employability.

KeyRing Living Support Networks

KeyRing are a not for profit organisation and their aim is to support vulnerable people to live independently. KeyRing focuses on the assets of the people we support and other people in the communities in which they live. We provide support to over 1000+ people across England and Wales, from KeyRing networks to Self- Advocacy

Kids Kabin

Kids Kabin runs creative and practical workshops for young people

Kidscape

Kidscape run their ZAP assertiveness workshops in the North East every two weeks for children and young people who are bullied, aged 9-16. The one-day workshop equips young people with the practical skills and confidence to stand up to bullying, and parents and carers also attend a half-day workshop on the same day, where they are given expert knowledge of how to effectively support their child.
