Project Compass CIC
Project Compass works with some of the most underserved and at-risk groups in our communities—children, young people, and veterans facing entrenched barriers to education, employment, wellbeing, and connection. Many are navigating trauma, exclusion, neurodivergence, or mental health challenges that leave them disconnected from mainstream opportunities.
Through inclusive, trauma-informed support, we help individuals rebuild confidence, develop capability, and raise aspirations—on their own terms. Our approach is rooted in equity and designed to reach those who are too often overlooked, creating pathways to personal growth, improved health, and long-term contribution.
Individuals Project Compass will be working with:
• Children with trauma and neurodivergence who are struggling to engage fully at school
• Young people and adults who experience low wellbeing, loneliness and physical inactivity
• Young people and adults who struggle to access ‘mainstream’ physical and social activities
• Young people and adults who have left employment or are struggling to gain employment
• Veterans struggling to integrate and adapt into civilian life

These projects are carefully selected to ensure the volunteers’ existing skills can be put to good use in their host communities and do not take work from local people.
