We make and sell a range of eco-friendly handmade jewellery and offer jewellery making/upcycling to both workshops to interrupt low mood and social isolation and promote the circular economy. Buyers can choose from our new or upcycled items and 3 months after purchase new items can be exchanged or upgraded, within a year.

Age UK Teesside is a charity working to help older people in Hartlepool, Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough and Stockton. Our staff and volunteers campaign and help over-50s with their health and wellbeing, finances and independence in their communities. We provide:

Information and advice, especially on entitlement to benefits, energy use and other financial needs
Support for individuals and people living with Dementia


We welcome new volunteers for our befriending and social activities or perhaps fundraising initiatives.

As a Community Centre we cater for a wide range of activities covering from birth to over 80 years of age such as a Day Nursery, Youth Club, club for young people with autism and other special needs, Tai Chi, Art for adults, Craft for school children, Spiritualist Church, Dance, Exercise classes, adult courses and hire out for birthday Parties plus others.

We are a voluntary dog rescue and rehoming service, formed in 1991, based in the Alnwick area and serving Northumberland and Tyneside

We target work with groups that face disadvantage including economic, social and educational disadvantges, we promote celebration of difference through single gender work, asylum seeker and refugee work and other marganalised group work.
We offer training to unemployed residents in the deprived Durham coalfields area and work on an outreach basis to offer volunteering roles to those in need.
