The shop aims to provide a creative space for the community, offering a variety of products for knitting, crochet, sewing, eco-repurposing, and upcycling clothes. In addition to retail, Annie's Craft Corner will offer workshops, including knit and natter, crochet and natter, sewing clubs, and vocational qualifications in textiles and fashion. The business will also reach out to community centres, churches, art centres, and educational institutions, such as Sunderland University and Sunderland College, to foster creativity, promote health and wellbeing, and enhance the skill set of local residents.
Business Objectives:
• To create a welcoming and supportive community hub for craft enthusiasts, offering both retail and educational opportunities.
• To deliver high-quality workshops and vocational qualifications in textiles, fashion, and upcycling.
