Idos is a clinic space in St Peter's Marina where clients can pay for private GP services, counselling, complementary therapies, blood tests and some other diagnostic tests.
We run free talks about health and wellbeing for example menopause, men's health.
Our social objective is to make a difference to local communities by:
creating health and wellbeing programs for local communities near the clinic and work with the communities to get the right topics for their needs
providing a social prescribing hub which meets CQC standards so that local GPs are confident that they are referring patients to reliable practitioners

Inclusion North CIC (IN) was established to promote inclusion for people with learning disabilities and their families. Through partnerships and development of their work IN has extended its work and influence to support the inclusion and empowerment of all disabled people in the creation of welcoming communities that value the contribution of all community members. Since it started in 2005 Inclusion North has worked closely with people with learning disabilities and their supporters to support improvement and change with the principles of co-production at the heart of all their work. In 2008 Inclusion North became an Independent CIC and from then to 31st March 2014 has
• delivered 42 regional or national projects with a duration of 3 months – 2 years
• Run over 300 public training sessions or events that included 6,000 people
• Delivered directly, or with partners, more than 1000 days of project support in local areas
IN’s core work is support to member areas in Yorkshire, Humber (Y H) and the North East (NE) and delivery of projects that promote inclusion, address inequalities or meet people’s priorities for change. IN has maintained a stable membership base despite the pressure on Local Authority budgets and some areas that left IN have returned when the impact of non-membership was felt.
The work with members has included reviews of how Personalisation is being implemented across all Adult Social Services, development of community led Safe Place schemes in partnership with Police and Crime Commissioners, work on the impact of the Care Act and leadership training for self-advocates co-delivered with people with learning Disabilities through the Tomorrows Leaders course.

Independent Advocacy North East

Independent Advocacy North East (IANE) provides a range of free advocacy services to residents of North Tyneside; these include case, citizen, self and group advocacy to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health problems, people with Dementia and people with communication difficulties. IANE also provides an IMHA (Independent Mental Health Advocacy) service; this is a statutory service for North Tyneside residents detained or conditionally discharged under the Mental Health Act. As advocates we support people to speak up and express their views and wishes when they feel they cannot do this for themselves or they feel they are not being listened to.

Inner Light Wellbeing CIC

Inner Light Wellbeing is a health and wellbeing Community Interest Company based in the Northeast of England that provides health and wellbeing programs for people within the areas of Gateshead, Durham, Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and Sunderland who are suffering from mental health problems due to their personal circumstances, specifically bereavement and carers, of loved ones who are ill, disabled, suffer challenging behaviour or have additional needs, and require support and educated on the relevance of self-care for their mental health and wellbeing, enabling them to be at their best for dealing with their daily challenges.

The vision is to build a business that changes the issues surrounding mental health across the Northeast of England. To achieve the implementation of a structured health and wellbeing program for individuals and businesses to access to inform, educate, support and inspire.

Through our multifaceted approach, Inner Light Wellbeing will:
• Facilitate direct contact through peer-to-peer support groups
• Organise and host Health and Wellbeing events across the Northeast of England.
• Provision of Health and Wellbeing training to local authority and corporate staff
• To recruit a panel of professionals
• Use revenue from our profits to provide an emergency fund for people in crisis.

We are a community interest company, providing play & youth sessions for all children and young people of newcastle and north tyneside aged 5 - 19 years. All of our sessions are free and a snack is provided. The sessions are a safe place for children and young people to attend to socialise, engage in activities, learn new skills, take part in projects and have fun.
