Guide Dogs are a charity delivering mobility services, training, advice, family support and research that help people who are blind and partially sighted to get out of their homes and maintain their independence. Guide Dogs provide expert habilitation and rehabilitation training to hundreds of children and adults across the UK.

The Lawnmowers Independent Theatre Company

The Lawnmowers is a company and registered charity run by and for people with learning disabilities which operates in Gateshead and the surrounding regions. We work daily with a core group of learning disabled members to co- produce person centred arts training that helps individuals to become artists and develops people both personally and professionally.

The Little Onion Club CIC

The Little Onion Club is a not-for-profit community inclusion company. We are led by a group of dedicated volunteers to work within our local community. We are based in Usworth Welfare Miners Park, where we deliver sessions cradle to grave, promoting ingenerational support to enhance children's development and combat social isolation. We deliver sessions both in our allotment and "Nook" when whether does not permit outdoor sessions. We work with children, local schools to deliver sessions that not only look at gardening as a source of wellbeing, but also composting, sustainabilty, and upcycling. We now have a dedicated wellbeing practitioner on board to support in our delivery of wellbeing services to again break down barriers of social isolation and combat the ever growing epidemic of burnout that we are seeing from school aged children right through to parents, carers and employees. We aim to foster and supportive and inclusive environnment by developing meaningful programmes and services that can be delivered to those within our community who can not readily afford to or feel disenfranchised from society.

THE MEA TRUST

The MEA Trust owns and operates MEA House, a five storey, fully DDA compliant, office accommodation block (with meeting rooms available for hire) situated in the heart of Newcastle City Centre, for the exclusive use of Charities, Community Interest Companies and Industrial and Provident Societies. MEA House was the brainchild of Mungo Campbell, his wife Esther McCracken and Alistair Fyfe (from where the acronym MEA is derived) and opened by HM The Queen in 1974 and is pleased to celebrate supporting the voluntary sector throughout Tyne & Wear and beyond in excess of forty years

The Meadows

A Large Community Centre/Community Hib and community Gardens in the heart of Meadow Well in North Shields. We work with communities to identify need and develop appropriate responses to those needs, keeping the the people we serve at the heart of everything we do. We deliver
