Hexham Bridge Club

Hexham Community Partnership

Hexham Community Partnership exists for the benefit of Hexham and surrounding areas. We run a community house called No. 28, providing advice, signposting, projects, digital skills training and activities to residents. We host other organisations like Northumberland CAN to support the delivery of their services.

Hexham Youth Initiative

Hexham Youth Initiative's aim is to provide activities, opportunities and services for young people in the Hexham area. We do this by working in partnership with many organisations. We rely on grants and support from charitable trusts and local funders and on our own fundraising efforts to keep us going.

Hilton & McEwan Stalking Intervention and Prevention

At Hilton & McEwan, we are dedicated to addressing stalking, emotional abuse, and physical assaults through comprehensive advocacy and support services. Our work involves reviewing cases of stalking to identify patterns and inform our strategies, enabling us to provide targeted assistance to victims.

We engage in the complexities surrounding stalking. Our team collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community organisations, law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and mental health services.

Hindu Nari Sangh

Hindu Nari Sangh translates Hindu Women's Centre. We make children born of parents from India Origin and indeed the local communities about the rich culture of India. It helps in community cohesion. We teach classical Indian dance from South India and also Bollywood which is lot of fun and exercise.

Hirst Active Youth

Hirst Active Youth is a youth led community organisation established in 2015. We work with young people aged 9-25 years living in Ashington, Northumberland and our purpose is to develop new activities and services in response to the needs of young people to provide support and aid a smooth transition into adulthood. Our work has been in existence since 2009 successfully delivered through the former Ashington Joint Welfare Scheme Charity at Hirst Welfare Centre.
Our activities include drop in sessions, junior gym, junior prevention program, health drop in and holiday provision.

Supported employment for adults with additional needs (learning, physical, mental health) to assist to access and maintain paid job roles.

HJEM CIC

Training organisation working with those furthest from the labour market.
Working with traditional skills in recycling furniture and furnishings with introductory and progression route community workshops.

Holdinghands North East CIC

Holding hands is a social enterprise on a mission to tackle Isolation, Trauma, Grief, suicide, and hopelessness and provide extra support to people in our community who are undergoing turbulent life challenging situations in form of, bereavement, relationship breakdown, ill health, isolation, poverty etc. To support them with therapies, mentoring and activities that help them build resilience and bounce back.

We offer support, services and advice to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people in England who are affected by Trauma, bereavement, isolation, Ill health and all mental i health challenges.

Homeshare matches people with spare rooms, who are looking for companionship and low level practical support, with people looking for affordable accommodation. It's a simple, mutually beneficial arrangement that connects people to share their lives.

At Homeshare North East, we connect people who are seeking companionship and have a spare room in their home (Householders) with people who are looking for affordable accommodation and can offer time, companionship and practical support such as help with cooking, cleaning, gardening (Homesharers).

We support young people at risk of offending or exploitation in North Tyneside, via mentoring, sports and personal development.

HOPS aims to relieve sickness and preserve and protect good health, principally by the provision of temporary respite, complementary healthcare, courses and workshops.

Horden CW FC

Horden Community Welfare Football Club, established in 2017, is a growing community football club based in Horden, East Durham and exists to use sport, particularly football, as a vehicle to improve physical health, mental wellbeing, social inclusion, and community cohesion. In line with our CIO constitution, we provide accessible opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and genders to participate in organised sport within a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
Our Junior Football Academy currently supports almost 130 school-aged children across
nine teams, while our senior section includes both men’s and women’s teams, creating
pathways for continued participation and development into adulthood.
We are committed to delivering high-quality coaching and player development, with
more than 30 trained coaches holding at least FA Level 1 qualifications. Alongside
football skills, we actively promote confidence, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and
positive social behaviours.
As a community-focused club, we work to remove barriers to participation, particularly
those linked to financial hardship, ensuring football remains accessible to local families.
Since our formation, the club has become an important part of community life in Horden,
providing structured activities, positive role models, and opportunities for personal
development. Our ambition is to continue expanding participation, strengthen community
engagement, and widen the positive social impact of our work across the area.

Horden Youth and Community Centre

Horden Youth & Community (HYCC) is a locally based centre-based charity in East Durham. HYCC has supported the local community for over 37 years, in a busy and lively community building. We strengthen and motivate the community, especially targeting those who are disadvantaged and isolated, encouraging them to explore ways of improving their physical, mental and emotional well-being through varied programmes of activities, courses and events to make an outstanding impact.

Hospitality and Hope is South Tyneside’s leading food insecurity, homelessness and community wellbeing charity. Our aim is to enable the community of South Tyneside to live without the stigma of disadvantage and inequality, with an increased sense of hope for a positive and self reliant future.
